Jon began his musical education at Chetham’s School of Music and progressed to The Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He was signed by Sony UK and released his acclaimed debut album ‘Northern Light’. He also starred in an ITV Documentary which followed his life and his debut in the USA for the 9/11 commemorative concert.
More recently Jon has presented The BBC Proms in The Park and countless other television appearances; he also has his own radio show on BBC Radio Lancashire showcasing his vast knowledge of music and his passion for production.
Jon and Jenny were first introduced in 2009 and for the first 18 months, Jon became Jenny's mentor. He put her through her paces and developed her into a recording artist. The two had not set out to perform as a duo however it became obvious that this was destiny. It was apparent that their voices together not only created a unique and magical blend that complimented each other, but also that the repertoire available for them to explore had opened up giving them more scope to be something different in an already saturated market covering genres such as Opera, Songs from the Shows, Film Music to new Crossover adaptations of classic pop songs showcasing their intricate harmonies in a way never been done before. It is due to the success of this partnership that they have found themselves performing in iconic venue all over the world including the O2 Arena, Royce Hall, LA, Manchester G-Mex, Wembley Stadium, Twickenham and The Millennium Stadium, to name just a few.
Over the past three years, in their spare time, Jon and Jenny have been touring the UK for the 'Sing for Life' Campaign. They have been serenading the public at major shopping centres raising money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. To-date this year alone stands at over £100,000.
