Tracey Emin is one of Britain’s most celebrated contemporary artists. Tracey came to prominence in 1995 when her work ‘Everyone I Have Ever Slept With 1963-1995 - a tent appliquéd with names - was shown at the South London Gallery. It included sexual partners and relatives she had slept with as a child.
The first major retrospective of Tracey’s work was held in Edinburgh 2008 and attracted over 40,000 visitors a record for the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. This year a major survey exhibition ‘Love Is What You Want’ covered Tracey’s career.
