Kristen gained international recognition in the 1990s for her roles in ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ and ‘The English Patient’. In 2008 she won a Best Actress Olivier Award for her role in ‘The Seagull’ in the West End.

Kristen has lived in France for most of her life and has appeared in French films ‘Tell No One’ and ‘I've Loved You So Long’ in which she won ‘Best European Actress in a Leading Role’ at the European Film Awards 2008. She is recognised for her elegance and sophisticated demeanour.
