Last January Karren was appointed vice-chairman of West Ham United FC. Since the early nineties Karren has been one of the only women in the male dominated world of football.

In 2002 she became the first female Managing Director of a Premiership football club, following Birmingham City’s promotion.

Karren has written four books including two novels. Her business handbook ‘Playing to Win’ gives tips and advice on how to succeed in business. Since 2010 Karren can be seen on BBC One’s ‘The Apprentice’ as Lord Sugar’s assistant.
