Jennifer is a successful actress and writer. Best known for her sketch shows ‘French & Saunders’ and ‘Absolutely Fabulous’, which both received international acclaim.

She has won numerous awards including two BAFTAs and an International Emmy Award. More recently she won the ‘American People’s Choice Award’ for voicing the Fairy Godmother in the animated film ‘Shrek 2’.

Last year it was revealed that Jennifer had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She had chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. In June 2010 she was given the all-clear and is now in remission.
